Dear Friends, The 17th Annual Brocks Gap Heritage Day will be held Sat., April 21, 2007 at Fulks Run Elementary School, Fulks Run, VA, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Last year about 400 people enjoyed our family & local history photo displays, talked with other researchers, used our reference books, and visited with "Simon Kenton" a VA/KY frontiersman portrayed by Mel Hankla of Kentucky. If you would like to have space for a table/display, please let me know before April 14 so we can save a spot for you. Set up is on Friday afternoon from 5-6:30 or Saturday morning 9:15-10:30. If you can help set up tables, chairs, books, posters, on Friday afternoon (3-7 p.m.), we'd be glad for your help. If you can help clean up Sat. from 4-6, we'd be doubly glad for your help then. This is a free event sponsored by my parents Lena & Garnett Turner and me. We hope you can join us in April to celebrate our Brocks Gap history andfamily connections. Sincerely, Pat Turner Ritchie new mail address: patritchie@verizon.net1559 Moffett Dr. Winchester, VA 22601 540 662-1475
