Warnings about "The Family News"

Norman Runyon sent the Runyon Mailing List the following relating to an orginization called "The Family News"
Gregory Brown responded with the following two URL's giving information on "The Family News"..........

These fradulent operations are well known to long time Runyon Researchers, but those new in the family search need to be on guard so that they are not cheated by these orginizations.[/size]
Hi all,
This may have come up before but I want to double-check.
I received a snail mail ad this week from an organization called "The Family
News" of Denver, CO.
They want to sell me their "Year 2005 International Runyon Family Yearbook"
on CD-ROM for $39.85. This is supposed to include 4 editions of the
"International Runyon Family News".
This sounds to me like another version of the various genealogy scams that
have been circulating for years.
Have any of you had any experience with this organization?
If they are as dishonest as the previous scams then everyone needs to be
warned about them and, perhaps, legal action should be taken against them.
