Runyon and his son Daniel M. Runyon. They relate business, family, religious, health, and other news. Daniel Runyon joined Co. B, 3rd Ky. Infantry Regt., in 1847 and fought in the Mexican War. His letters home describe camp life, travel by steamboat, Mexico, peace negotiations, etc. Also included are copies of land deeds, 1859-1880, made in 1892 regarding the Chenault and Bronston families of Madison Co., Ky.
