William H. Runyan II, 52, of Delphos, died at 9:15 p.m. Saturday from
injuries sustained in an automobile accident on State Route 66 near the
intersection of State Road south of Delphos.
He was born May 6, 1953, in Lima, to Todd E. and Wilma J. (Best) Runyan Sr.
He married Kesha Cross Feathers, who survives in Delphos.
Other survivors include a son, Travis Runyan of St. Louis, Mo.; two
daughters, Kellie Runyan and Hallie Runyan of Delphos; a stepdaughter, Kayla
Feathers of Delphos; three sisters, Mary (Ralph) Shaeffer and Patricia LaRue
of Delphos and Debra (Scott) Coplin of Middle Point; three brothers, Michael
Runyan of Delphos, David (Tracy) Runyan of Moore, Okla., and Todd (Jacie)
Runyan of Connersville, Ind.; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and
nephews.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents William H. and Helen
(Riley) Runyan I; and maternal grandparents Leander J. and Priscilla E.
(Kiggins) Best.
Mr. Runyan was employed at Allen County Fabrication in Lima and was a
veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Harter and Schier
Funeral Home. Military rites will be conducted by the Delphos Veterans
Council.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to his children’s college fund.
