Hezekiah, who apparently died in the fall of 1821, left his land grant in Tazewell, Claiborne, Tennessee to his three children: George Washington Runnion, Charles Wesley Runnion and Mary Polly Runnion Baker. George Washington (born 25 Dec 1812) and his wife, Mary Elizabeth Eastridge's grave is on Little Valley Road, Claiborne County. I believe the unmarked grave beside them could be Kiah's. In searching for Kiah's father, we have the clues that Kiah was born in Tennessee in the year 1795 according to the date he enlisted in the East Tennessee 7th Militia under Colonel Samuel Bunch. His second enlistment indicated he was from Hiwassee. Kiah's commander Solomon Dobkins became the children's guardian upon the death of their father. Although not the only possibility, Isaac Barefoot 1757 is a candidate for Hezekiah's father. Barefoot named two of his children Wesley, Kiah named one of his Wesley. The years of his children's birth align with Kiah's. Isaac was born in Jefferson County, TN two years before Kiah's birth. Has any one found more than six children who belonged to Barefoot--John Wesley 1778, Aaron Alexander 1786, Tavener Marcus 1788, Ware 1790, Isaac 1793, and Loami Wesley 1802?
