Greetings, I have a group of people who share a large DNA segment. Most descend from George Barmore, born about 1722-1724 possibly to Henry Baremore and Rachel Mead both of Greenwich CT. George married and had children Elizabeth, Lewis, James, Jonathan, William, and two others not named. James and Lewis could be from the mother's side. The Mother might have been named Mary. One of the DNA matches in common descends from three Runyans including Benjamin, married to either Mary ? or Anna Higgins (still sorting that out), Anna Runyan and Mary Runyon, and Drakes and Dunn. Bottom line, does anyone know of possible Mary Runyans born about 1725 to 1735 in Middlesex NJ, who could have married George Barmore and then moved to Fauquier county, Va (where they were members of the Baptist Church) and later to Abbeville county, SC, where said Mary might have died after 1790. I would welcome folks willing to compare autosomal Dna at Gedmatch, though the probability of individual matches is low this far back. sincerely, Jonathan Long
